Nora D. (Ruggles) Mckinzie

Nora D. McKinzie, age 85 of Cincinnati, Ohio and formerly of Wahlsburg, Ohio died Monday, December 10, 2018 at her residence. She was a homemaker and worked for the Village Laundromat in Sedamsville, Ohio where everyone referred to her as “Grandma”. Mrs. McKinzie was born January 12, 1933 in Seaman, Ohio the daughter of the late John A. and Mary (Turner) Ruggles. She was preceded in death by her husband – Robert W. McKinzie, Jr. in 1983, nine brothers and seven sisters.

Mrs. Mckinzie is survived by two daughters – Linda Tutt and husband Harold of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Barbara Hoernshmeyer and husband Andrew of Cincinnati, Ohio; three grandchildren – Laura Jean Gibbs of Madison, Wisconsin, Tricia Lee Tutt of Beavercreek, Ohio and Robin Lee Ann Hoernshmeyer of Cincinnati, Ohio; nine great grandchildren – Jessie Ray Brooks and wife Jen, Robert Helfinstine, Thomas Keller, Eva Keller, Faith Helfinstine, Emma Workman and husband William, Tae Brooks, Bradley Mauldin and Leah Mauldin; three great great grandchildren – Maci Brooks, Peyton Workman and Raelynn Workman and her beloved cat – Scooter.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Jonathon Madden will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
