Nora Mae Mitchell

Nora Mae Mitchell, age 97 of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the Batavia Nursing Care Center in Batavia, Ohio. Mrs. Mitchell was a homemaker. She was born April 27, 1918 in Ripley, Ohio the daughter of the late William and Minnie (Boone) Gray. She was also preceded in death by her husband – Ralph Mitchell in 1961, two sons – Ronald and Elmer Lee Mitchell, two grandchildren – Marilyn Williams and Beverly Sue Mitchell, four brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Mitchell is survived by one daughter – Sharon Penny and husband Virgil of Georgetown, Ohio, one daughter-in-law – Phyllis M. Mitchell of Georgetown, Ohio, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Chuck Gray will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Manchester Cemetery in Manchester, Ohio.
