Norma Watson Isaac, 83, of Aberdeen, OH, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children at St. Joseph's Hospital in Lexington, KY at 1:55 am on Sunday, February 1, 2015.

Norma was born in Magoffin County, KY on June 7, 1931. She was one of four children born to the late Arthur and Mary Fannin Watson. Norma was baptized into the Pentecostal faith and was a dedicated member of the Church of God. On April 15, 1950, Norma married Veldon Ames Isaac. The couple lived in Salyersville, KY and raised two children, Michael and Denise. They moved to Aberdeen, OH in 1971 where Norma devoted her time to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Norma will be warmly remembered for the cream candy she made and hand-pulled every winter during the holidays to share with family and friends. She was an avid University of Kentucky men's basketball fan and could never bear to watch them lose a game. She loved to vacation in the Smokey Mountains and to visit the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN. She loved peanut butter pie, chocolate candy bars and watching TV.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Arthur Watson; her loving husband, Veldon; and siblings Dorothy Watson Pennington, Wade Watson, and Wishard Watson.

Norma is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Ingrid Isaac of Louisville, KY; her daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Kenneth Handy of Aberdeen, OH; four grandchildren, Mica (Nick) Jochim, Olivia Sleadd, Kelli Wallingford and, Brent Handy; and four great-grandchildren, Jackson Sleadd, Quintin Jochim, Jude Sleadd and Harper Jochim, all of Louisville, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be held from noon until 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday. A Christian burial will follow the funeral service at the Charter Oak Cemetery in Aberdeen, OH.
