Olive Coleen Jones

Olive Coleen Jones, age 90 of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, August 31, 2008 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ripley, Ohio. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and a member of the Shinkles Ridge Christian Chapel. She was born on January 3, 1918 in Carter County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Perry C. and Lucy (Reynolds) Sammons. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Jones in 1997.
Mrs. Jones is survived by six sons - Gene Jones and wife Anna, Lonnie Jones and wife Edith, Larry Jones, Scotty Jones, Mickey Jones and wife Kathy and Kevin Jones and wife Tishie all of Georgetown, Ohio; twenty grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren and one half sister - Beulah Gray of Georgetown, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. George Vance will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday. Interment will be in the Shinkles Ridge Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Road, Maysville, Kentucky 41056, the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
