Orville Franklin Conrad

Orville Franklin Conrad, age 93 of Mt. Orab, Ohio died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at his residence. He was an operation manager for Associated Truck Lines, a farmer and a member of the Mt. Orab Church of Christ in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Orville was born October 12, 1921 in Burlington, Kentucky the son of the late Ivan and Addie (Long) Conrad. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter - Joyce Watson; three brothers - Dallas, Harold and Carroll Conrad and one sister - Vera King.
Mr. Conrad is survived by his wife of sixty-nine years, Betty Jo (Jones) Conrad; one daughter - Judy Conrad of Lebanon, Ohio; two sons - Jim Conrad and Tom Conrad and wife Barb both of Mt. Orab, Ohio; two brothers - Dr. H.R. Conrad of Wooster, Ohio and Gene Conrad of Hebron, Kentucky; one sister - Evelyn Edwards of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren - Jenise Conrad, Jill Shaffer, Joey Keller, Darren Keller, Kimberly Scott, Matt Conrad and Kristine Conrad; nine great grandchildren - Paige Keller, Hannah Keller, Liam Keller, Maya Shaffer, Ian Shaffer, Anderson Scott, Ainsley Scott, Matalynn Conrad and Aubrianna Conrad.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Mt. Orab Church of Christ in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Joe Strunk and Vernon Green will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the church. Interment will be in the Mt.Orab Cemetery in Mt.Orab, Ohio. The Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio is serving the family.
