Patsy Ann Ernst Holland

Patsy Ann Ernst Holland, age 70 of Georgetown, Ohio died Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. She was a caseworker for the Brown County Human Services and a member of the Carey Bavis American Legion Post # 180 Auxiliary. Mrs. Holland was born on February 5, 1938 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of the late Charles Allen and Ruth Ellenore (Wuerdeman) Lucas. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, George Russell Ernst, four sisters, Evelyn Lucas, Winona Ruth Lucas, Dorothy Massie and Marguerite Milligan and four brothers, Charles (Bud) Lucas, Paul Lucas, John R. (Bob) Lucas and Jack Lucas.
Patsy is survived by her husband Cecil Holland; five children - Brenda Parker and husband Tim of Georgetown, Ohio; Edward Ernest and wife Karen of Rockwood, Tennessee, Michael Ernest and wife Khristy of Georgetown, Ohio; Dorothy Schroth and husband Brian of Taylor Mill, Kentucky and Ruth McIntosh and husband Joe of Georgetown, Ohio; three step children - Carolyn Holland Carbary and husband Mike of Chelsea, Michigan; Mary Holland and friend Cincy of Cincinnati, Ohio and Robert Holland and wife Margaret of Seattle, Washington; nineteen grandchildren - Jeremy Lee Ernest, Michael Parker and friend Amanda Leach of Georgetown, Ohio; Rusty Parker and wife Becky of Mt. Orab, Ohio; Rachel Ceck and husband Pete and Michael Ernst and wife Sasha all of Sylacauga, Alabama; Danny and Erin Ernest both of Tennessee; Mackenna and Madalyn Schroth both of Taylor Mill, Kentucky; Marcos Holland-Carbary of Chelsea, Michigan, Christopher Ernst and Makenna McIntosh both of Georgetown, Ohio; Rebecca Ernst, Caleb, Rachel, Lydia, Noah, Isaac and Joseph Ernest all of Rockwood, Tennessee; six great-grandchildren - Owen Leach, Jayden Parker, Hunter and Austin Murphy, Carly Ceck and Emily Ernest and two brothers - William Lucas and wife Gladys of Ripley, Ohio and Donald Lucas and wife Tori of Surprise, Arizona.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 20, 2008 at the Georgetown Church of Christ, 149 Hamer Road, Georgetown, Ohio. Rev Sam Talley will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope 215 Hughes Boulevard, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154 or to the American Cancer Society.
