Paul Sharp

Paul Stanley Sharp, age 76 of Norwood, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 26, 2026 at the VA Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born September 14, 1950in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Thelma (Edwards) Sharp of Amelia, Ohio and the late Phillip Sharp. Paul was a 1969 graduate of Glen Este High School, a retired electronics technician and a United States Army Veteran who honorably served during the Vietnam War. He was an avid ham radio enthusiast and enjoyed the connections and friendships that came through his hobby. Paul had a strong spirit of service and generously volunteered his time with the VA, Hamilton County EMS, and the Board of Elections. In his free time, he enjoyed playing poker and sharing good times with others. Above all, Paul loved his family deeply, and they were the greatest part of his life. His dedication to his country, his community, and his family will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Sharp is survived by his wife of 54 years – Linda (Elble) Sharp whom he married June 17, 1972; two sons – Matthew Sharp and wife Sara of Amelia, Ohio and Noah Sharp and partner Jason Paoletti of Dayton, Ohio; two granddaughters – Grace and Anna Sharp; one sister – Catheryn Sharp of Amelia, Ohio; one brother-in-law – Ronald Elble and wife Dianne of Zanesville, Ohio; two nephews – Eric Elble and Ryan Elble and wife Amanda both of Zanesville, Ohio; one niece – Amy Odegaard and husband Sung of Zanesville, Ohio and one cousin – Chris Goetz of Amelia, Ohio.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at the Linwood Cemetery in Russellville, Ohio with military services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180 of Georgetown, Ohio. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
