Peggy Lee Baker, age 70 of Batavia, Ohio passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Eastgatespring in Eastgate, Ohio. She was born November 2, 1955 in Clermont County, Ohio the daughter of the late Carl and Mary (Henize) Evans. Her warmth, creativity, and devotion to loved ones defined a life marked by kindness and the enduring bonds of family and friendship. Peggy was especially known for the joy she found in simple pleasures and the cozy comforts of home. A gifted crafter, she poured her heart into projects that brightened the lives of those around her. Cooking was another of Peggy’s passions and her homecooked meals became treasured gatherings for family and friends. Her kitchen was filled with laughter and the delicious scents of recipes lovingly prepared—none more beloved than the cookies and goodies she delighted in making for her grandchildren. A true homebody at heart, Peggy found beauty and happiness tending her garden, nurturing flowers that bloomed under her care. She cherished spending time with family and friends, nurturing relationships that remained strong throughout her life. Peggy Baker’s legacy lives on in the memories of joy she created and the warmth she shared so freely. Her life was a testament to the love and togetherness she valued so deeply. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who knew her. Besides her father in 2002 and mother in 2019, she was preceded in death by her husband - Frank David Baker in 2021.
Mrs. Baker is survived by two sons – Todd Heath and Amanda “Mandy” Baker of Batavia, Ohio and William “Billy” Heath and wife Rhonda of Kentucky; seven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 31, 2026 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Dave Warren will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral Home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown. Ohio.
