Phyllis Wray Day

Phyllis Wray Day, age 83 of Mt. Orab, Ohio died Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the Locust Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Mt. Orab, Ohio. She was a secretary for the Engineering Department for General Electric for 40 years, a member of the Mt. Orab United Methodist Church and loved her cats, reading, shopping, hiking her property and visiting with neighbors, family and friends. Phyllis was born April 1, 1933 in Brown County, Ohio the daughter of the late Henton and Bertha (Stivers) Day. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters – Audrey Day and an unnamed baby girl and one brother – Roland Day.
Ms. Day is survived by one brother - Merlin Day; one very special niece – Joyce Day of Mt. Orab, Ohio; her beloved great nephews – Jeff and Greg Day and many friends.
Private funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Interment will be in the Mt. Orab Cemetery in Mt. Orab, Ohio.
