Rachael Mitchell-Briggs

Rachael M. Mitchell – Briggs, age 51 of Georgetown, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at the Locust Ridge Nursing Home in Williamsburg, Ohio surrounded by the love of her family. She was born June 20, 1975 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of the late Micheal D. and Carol Ann (Hartley) Mitchell. Rachael was employed at Harold’s Quick Stop in Georgetown, Ohio, and Grandma and Grandpa’s Gas Station in Wahlsburg, Ohio. She was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2293 in Georgetown. In her spare time, Rachael enjoyed staying active and spending time with activities she loved, including golfing, bowling, and playing billiards. These hobbies brought her enjoyment and provided opportunities to make lasting memories with family and friends. Besides her parents, Rachael was preceded in death by her step-father- Kenneth Lancaster.

Rachael is survived by her significant other – Michael Briggs; three children – Anthony Shipman and wife Jessica of Batavia, Ohio, Heather Mason of Batavia, Ohio and Austin Briggs and wife Brianna of Alaska; one brother – Michael Mitchell and wife Sheila of St. Clair, Missouri; one sister – Samantha McIntosh and husband Shane of Middletown, Ohio and one nephew.

Celebration of Life Gathering will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 9, 2026 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio.
