Raymond Lee Knell

Raymond Lee Knell, age 69 of Portsmouth, Ohio, died Sunday, August 14, 2016 near Aberdeen, Ohio. He was self-employed. Mr. Knell was born May 25, 1947 in Lewis County, Kentucky the son of the late Linza and Dollie (Broomfield) Knell. He was also preceded in death by three sisters – Marie Riley, Frances Gilliam and Alice Buckner; two brothers – Roscoe Knell and Elwood Knell.
Mr. Knell is survived by two sisters – Violet Armstrong of Aberdeen, Ohio and Diane Adams of Bucyrus, Ohio; two brothers – Roger Knell of Bucyrus, Ohio and Estill Knell of Portsmouth, Ohio; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Thursday. Interment will follow the funeral service in the private family cemetery near Aberdeen, Ohio.
