Rebecca Jayne Mouch, age 69 of Williamsburg, Ohio passed away Monday, June 16, 2025 at the Anderson Mercy Hospital in Anderson Township, Ohio. She was born August 23, 1955 in Tiffin, Ohio the daughter of the late Robert Hoffert and Pleades (Bell) Sloan. Rebecca graduated from Ross High School in 1973 and earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Phoenix. She dedicated many years as an integral part of her husband’s practice, Mouch Chiropractic in Williamsburg, Ohio, as the office manager before becoming a medical coder and accountant at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Rebecca was known for her competitive spirit as a ballroom dancer, as well as her creative talents in sewing, quilting and canning. She enjoyed spending time in nature, particularly fishing and boating on Lake Erie, where she created lasting memories with her father. Rebecca was member of the AAPC and the Order of the Eastern Star Seven Hills Chapter #589 in Norwood, Ohio, where she contributed to her community and forged meaningful relationships. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, dedication and a passion for the pursuits she loved and will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege to know her. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son – Nicolas Anthony Arthur in 2017, two grandsons – Alex and Austin Butscher, one brother – Bob Hoffert and one sister – Kathy Hoffert.
Mrs. Mouch is survived by her loving husband of nearly 30 years – Dr. Brian Robert Mouch whom she married November 4, 1995; three children- Dennis Butscher and wife Patty of Goshen, Ohio, Peter James “PJ” Butscher of Fremont, Ohio and Jessica Housh and husband Andrew of Owensville, Ohio; six grandchildren – Erin Lewallen, Hunter and Emily Butscher, Jayden Clemons an Cole and Liam Housh; one brother – Richard Hoffert; two sisters – Susie Alejandro of Arizona and Debbie Hoffert of Fremont, Ohio; her fur baby - Rudy and many nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio is serving the family.
