Richard Dennis Kattine

Richard Dennis Kattine, age 65 of Aberdeen, Ohio and formerly of Georgetown, Ohio died Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was employed by Wal-Mart in West Union, Ohio, was a member of the Ripley Church of Christ and was a Vietnam War Army veteran. He was born July 2, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Dorothy (Dunbar) Kattine of Georgetown, Ohio and the late Richard Kattine.

Mr. Kattine is survived by his wife - Donna (Racel) Kattine, whom he married November 5, 1977; five sons - Ricky Littleton of West Virginia, Greg Kattine of Georgetown, Ohio, Billy Castle and wife Jennifer of Lewis County, Kentucky, Tracy Castle of Maysville, Kentucky and Jay Castle of Aberdeen, Ohio; two daughters - Kendra Yeager and husband Rusty of Port LaVaca, Texas and Monda Erkskine and husband Gail of Tollesboro, Kentucky; six grandchildren - Joshua Castle, Melody Lewis, Bethany Johnson, Keenan Yeager, Micah Yeager and Greg Kattine II; four great-grandchildren - Maddie Yeager, Anson Castle, Kynlee Lewis and Bentley Kattine; his Mother - Dorothy Kattine of Georgetown, Ohio and two sisters - Donna Yockey and husband John of Georgetown, Ohio and Shirley Hay and husband Bill of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. John Neu will officiate. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Charter Oak Cemetery with veteran services by the Courts Fussnecker American Legion Post #367. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
