Richard Miller Rossman

Richard Miller Rossman, age 81 of Georgetown, Ohio and formerly of Ripley, Ohio died Sunday, October 21, 2007 at the Anderson Mercy Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Rossman was a retired employee of the R.K. LeBlond Machine Tool Company after thirty-three years of service and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was born on December 11, 1925 in Brown County, Ohio the son of the late Lewis and Velma (Schuler) Rossman. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Georgia Carol Rossman, two sisters - Mary and Mildred Rossman and one brother - Albert Rossman.

Mr. Rossman is survived by his wife - Marjorie (Swearingen) Rossman, whom he married on December 27, 1947; one daughter - Portia Ring and husband Fred of Georgetown, Ohio and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 25, 2007 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday. Interment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio with veteran services by the Courts-Fussnecker American Legion Post #367. If desired, memorials may be made to the Brown County Humane Society, 604 S. Main Street, Georgetown, Ohio 45121.
