Richard Eugene Wainscott

Richard Eugene Wainscott, age 78 of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, January 9, 2011 at the Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia, Ohio. He was retired from the Brown County Highway Department after thirty years of service and enjoyed growing and selling produce. Richard was born October 5, 1932 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late John B. and Vernon (Linderman) Wainscott. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son-in-law - Frank Forgione, Jr., two brothers - Roland and Charlie Everett Wainscott and three sisters- Viola Hook, Charlette Virgin and Wilma Jean Wainscott.

Mr. Wainscott is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Mildred (Sullivan) Wainscott, whom he married October 3, 1956; one son - Doug Wainscott of Georgetown, Ohio; two daughters - Charlene Forgione of Dorset, Ohio and Joyce Wainscott-King and husband Philip of Hillsboro, Ohio; three grandchildren - Kyle Wainscott and wife Janna and Brandon and Wyatt King; one great grandson - Spencer Wainscott and two sisters - Flora Prather of Georgetown, Ohio and Dorothy Florence and husband Freddie of Felicity, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
