Rick Herdtner

Richard “Rick” Robert Herdtner, age 64 of Georgetown, Ohio passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025 at his residence. He was born July 31, 1960 in Loveland, Ohio the son of the late Hobert William and Mary Ann (Johnston) Herdtner. Rick was a retired professional known for his work as a commercial and residential Tile and Carpet Installer. He took great joy in spending time outdoors, particularly through camping adventures and fishing trips with his friends. Rick's passion for these activities enriched his life and the lives of those around him. He will be remembered fondly for his skills, friendships, and zest for life. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother – William Herdtner, one sister – Pam Hensley and dear friend – Sam Hughes.

Mr. Herdtner is survived by his loving fiancé – Sherry L. McElroy of Georgetown, Ohio; one brother – Jon Herdtner (Kitty) of Mt. Orab, Ohio; two sisters – Lynn Walker of Lake Lorelei, Ohio and Lisa Herdtner (Bob) of Loveland, Ohio; One brother-in-law – Jerry Hensley of Loveland, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; special friends – Paul and Amy Brown of Owensville, Ohio and Nell Hughes of Goshen, Ohio and a host of friends.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
