Robert L. Caplinger

Robert L. Caplinger, age 88 of Williamsburg, Ohio and formerly of Felicity, Ohio died Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at the VA Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. Mr. Caplinger was a farmer, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Wilson Sroufe V.F.W. Post # 9772 in Mt. Orab, Ohio and the St. Michael Catholic Church in Mt. Orab, Ohio. He was born on February 6, 1921 in Leesburg, Ohio the son of the late Cecil L. and Minnie Alice (Collier) Caplinger. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Herbert, Harold and William Arthur Caplinger and one sister Thelma Burkhart.

There are no survivors.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, August 28, 2009 at the St. Michael Catholic Church in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. Friday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio with veteran services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180 in Georgetown, Ohio Condolences made be sent to the family at the above link.
