Robert James Howser

Robert J. Howser, age 87 of Georgetown, Ohio died Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the Villa Georgetown in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. Howser started his career with the Kattine Motor Company in Georgetown, Ohio, he then worked for Queen City Chevrolet and later became the owner of Howser's Auto Repair and GMC Truck Sales in Georgetown. He was elected as a Brown County Commissioner in 1979 and served for twelve years. Mr. Howser served in the United States Navy during World War II, was a member of the Ripley Church of the Nazarene, the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180 and built several homes in the Georgetown area. He was born August 10, 1927 in Lewis Township, Brown County, Ohio the son of the late James Arthur and Lula (Dugan) Howser. He was also preceded in death by his first wife a
