Robert Geoffrey Hyde

Robert Geoffrey Hyde, age 71 of Georgetown, Ohio died Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. Hyde was retired from the General Electric Company and was a school bus driver for the Georgetown Exempted Village School District. He was born on November 28, 1935 in Darke County, Ohio the son of Helen D. (Hill) Hyde of Georgetown, Ohio and the late Robert Hilton Hyde.

Mr. Hyde is survived by his wife - Marie (Sopko) Hyde; three sons - Jon Kent Hyde and wife Rachel of Georgetown, Ohio, Robert Henry Hyde and wife Sharon of Cincinnati, Ohio and Geoffrey Dean Hyde and wife Heidi of Georgetown, Ohio; his mother - Helen D. Hyde of Georgetown, Ohio and five grandchildren - Melissa, Shawna, Kara, Kiley and Koby Hyde.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 16, 2007 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 P.M. Friday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Georgetown Life Squad, P.O. Box 184, Georgetown, Ohio 45121.
