Robert Lee Lockard

Robert Lee Lockard, age 77 of Georgetown, Ohio died Saturday, October 31, 2009 at his residence. He manufactured Environmental Testing Chambers for the Cincinnati Sub Zero Company until his retirement, after 35 years of service and was a United States Korean War Navy Veteran. Robert was born February 4, 1932 in Chesapeake, Ohio, the son of the late Denver and Vergie (LaFone) Lockard. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife - Shirley (Shaffer) Lockard in 1995 and two brothers - Charles Conner and John Lockard.

Mr. Lockard is survived by three children - Patricia Reeves and husband Chuck, Sharon Lockard and Robert Lockard, all of Georgetown, Ohio; five grandchildren - Christy Purdy, Karen Dunn, Kevin Reeves, Cynthia Reeves,Cody Ridner and his father, Randy Ridner; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers - Frank Lockard and wife Taccie of Lawrence County, Ohio and Paul Lockard and wife Janice of Chesapeake, Ohio and two sister-in-laws - Lois Lockard of Bethel, Ohio and Hoa Conner of Georgetown, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, November 2, 2009 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Robbie Scott will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 P.M on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at the Centenary Cemetery in Lawrence County, Ohio.
