Robert David Snapp, age 85 of Georgetown, Ohio passed away Monday, August 31, 2026 at the Hospice of Hope Inpatient Care Center at Adams County Regional Medical Center in Seaman, Ohio. He was born October 24, 1940 in Bracken County, Kentucky the son of the late Joseph Clifton and Ruby Agnes (Miller) Snapp. Robert was a devoted husband, dedicated employee, faithful church member and man of many interests. He retired after 26 years as a manager with Milligan NAPA Parts, but his love of work kept him going and he returned to the workforce for more than 12 years with Smyth Automotive. Robert was a dedicated member of the Russellville Church of Christ, where his faith was an important part of his life. He and his wife, Wilma, shared many years working together in ceramics, creating lasting memories along the way. He had a special love for lighthouses and enjoyed traveling to visit the many different lighthouses he could find. At home, he found simple joy in watching the birds gather at the feeder outside his window. Robert will be remembered for his dedication, quiet interests and the many memories he shared with those he loved. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife – Wilma (Edenfield) Snapp in 2008 and one son – Brian Snapp in 2024.

Mr. Snapp is survived by two children – John Snapp of Georgetown, Ohio and Tammy Ponson and husband Keith of Raceland, Louisiana; three grandchildren – Jamie Sweet and Brianna and Nathan Snapp; one brother – Terry Snapp and wife Sue of Columbus, Ohio; one niece and one nephew.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 4, 2026 at the Russellville Church of Christ, 144 South Columbus Street, Russellville, Ohio 45168. Dru Lane will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Friday at the church. Interment will be in the Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Arnheim, Ohio. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
