Ronald Lee Durbin

Ronald Lee Durbin, age 83 of Georgetown, Ohio passed away Monday, September 22, 2025 at the Villa Georgetown Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Georgetown, Ohio. He was born November 6, 1941 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late Noral and Mary (Ernst) Durbin. Ron was a dedicated professional in the construction industry, working for Glenn Rhoades Construction until 1968. He then devoted the next 44 years of his career to Martin Marietta, retiring in 2012. An enthusiastic sports supporter, Ron was a loyal fan of the three B’s; Cincinnati Bengals, Ohio State University Buckeyes and University of Cincinnati Bearcats. He cherished spending time with his loved ones and always looking forward to vacations. Ron also embraced various leisure activities, including golf, bowling and mini golf. Additionally, he was a proud member of the Georgetown Masonic Lodge F&AM #72. His legacy of dedication and passion for life will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter – Anne Thomas in 2017 and one brother – Gary Durbin.

Mr. Durbin is survived by his wife of 63 years – Elizabeth Jane (Louderback) Durbin whom he married September 29, 1962; one daughter – Rhonda Durbin; four grandchildren – Justin Thomas and wife Michelle, Jonny Thomas and wife Veronica, Jacob Thomas and wife Megan and Veronica Johnson; nine great grandchildren – Tinley, Jaxson and Annabelle Thomas, Ellie and Lincoln Thomas and Avarey, Adalyn, Eli and Boaz Thomas; two sister – Marsha Louderback and Shirley Mote and special friends – Keith and Tammy Thomas, the Holden, Pinkerton and Bronson Families and Ellen Kron.

Private services will be held Monday, September 29, 2025 the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in the Mowrystown Cemetery in Mowrystown, Ohio
