Ronald “Ron” Alan Parks, age 70 of Georgetown, Ohio passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at his residence. He was born February 17, 1955 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late Oscar Parks, Jr. and Mary (Smith) Parks. Ron was a dedicated retired field service technician for Cincinnati Milacron, devoting over 30 years of his life to his profession. He was a cherished family man, always looking forward to gatherings where he could create lasting memories with his loved ones. Ron had a passion for adventure, enjoying vacations to the beautiful mountains of Tennessee as well as the sunny Orlando area in Florida. In his leisure time, he took great pride in rebuilding his beloved 1994 blue Corvette, a project that reflected his meticulous nature and pride. As an avid sports fan, Ron was a loyal supporter of the Cincinnati Bengals and found joy in watching the Cincinnati Reds play. He was also a proud conceal and carry license holder and had a fondness for fishing. Yet, what brought Ron the greatest joy was his time spent at the casino, where he embraced the thrill of chance. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His spirit and dedication to family and friends will continue to live on in their hearts. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife – Connie (Liming-Puckett) Parks in 2006, two brothers – Johnny Ray Parks and Jerry Parks and wife – Debra.
Mr. Parks is survived by his wife – Ginger (Waits-Wilt) Parks whom he married December 30, 2020; four step-sons – Jordan Wilt, Jeff Liming, Dustin Puckett, Sr. and David J. Puckett; three step-grandchildren – Dannielle Goslin, Devin Puckett and Dustin Puckett, Jr.; one step great-grandson – Dustin Puckett, III; one brother – Larry “Joe” Parks and wife Cathy; two sisters – Carla Syme and Tina Adkins and many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Monday, September 15, 2025 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Pastor Orvel Hisel will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. – 11:30 A.M Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Bethel Tate Cemetery in Bethel, Ohio.
