Ronald Raymond Sweetman

Ronald Raymond Sweetman, age 56 of Piqua, Ohio died Friday, July 10, 2020 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a dispatcher for J R Edwards Trucking Company. Ron was born July 6, 1964 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin the son of the late Eugene D. and Ethel C. (Haselow) Sweetman. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers – Paul and Charles Rank.
Mr. Sweetman is survived by four children – Michelle Meyer and husband John of Bethel, Ohio, Timothy Sweetman and wife Jennifer of Portage, Wisconsin, Joseph Sweetman of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Nikki Heikkinen of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren – Aiden Jackson, Brianna Meyer, Nevaeh Rizer, Brianna Heikkinen, Jacob Meyer, Rhian Sweetman and Harley Sweetman; one brother – John Rank of Manitowoc, Wisconsin and one sister – Teresa Rank-Marker of Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Rev. Dennis Croy will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. During the visitation and funeral service, social distancing will be observed. If you are unable to attend, the family encourages you to leave a message or condolence.
