Ronnie Joe Ernst, age 72 of Georgetown, Ohio passed away Monday, April 20, 2026 at his residence. He was born June 29, 1953 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late Joseph and Thelma (Clifton) Ernst. Throughout his life, Ronnie was known for his dedication to his work and his deep commitment to family. He built a meaningful career working for John Deere and later with the Brown County Highway Department, contributing his skills and effort to organizations that played significant roles in his community. Ronnie's professional journey reflected a strong work ethic and a sense of responsibility that earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Beyond his career, Ronnie cherished the time he spent with his family. Those moments were among the most important to him, underscoring his role as a devoted family man who prioritized bonds of love and support. Ronnie’s legacy is one of steady commitment both to his profession and to his loved ones, marking his life with purpose and connection. His contributions and the memories he leaves behind will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

Mr. Ernst is survived by one son – Joe Ernst and wife Tracy of Georgetown, Ohio; two grandchildren – Garrett and Wesley Ernst and one sister – Ruth Robinson.

There will be no services. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
