Rose M Schwallie

Rose M. Schwallie, age 70 of Ripley, Ohio, died Thursday, December 23, 2010 at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Mrs. Schwallie was born March 8, 1940 in Fayetteville, Ohio the daughter of the late Joseph and Bernice (MairEttiene) Holden. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Bernard Holden.

Mrs. Schwallie is survived by her loving husband of forty seven years, Jim Schwallie; four sons - Tom Schwallie of Maysville, Kentucky, Paul Schwallie of Ripley, Ohio, Don Schwallie of Red Oak, Ohio and Larry Schwallie of Hamersville, Ohio; one daughter, Sue Hauke of Maysville, Kentucky; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters - Viola Glossner of West Chester, Ohio, Mary Yeary of Florida and Jo Anne Ruther of Cincinnati, Ohio; six brothers - Frank, Richard, Jim, Lawrence and Joe Holden, all of Fayetteville, Ohio and Tony Holden of Florida; several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Dohrman Byers will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Tuesday at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley. Interment will be in Red Oak Cemetery near Ripley, Ohio.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Catholic Church or Hospice of Hope.
