Roxanne Ellen Malone passed on to her eternal home on Wednesday August 5, 2026, at her Pisgah Ridge residence near Ripley, Ohio following a long illness. She died on the 5th anniversary of her mother’s death on August 5, 2021. Roxanne was born on May 30, 1961 to parents, Louis B (Red) Malone and Ruth Ellen (Fussnecker) Malone. She lived her entire life in Ripley, Ohio.

Roxanne was a former member of Danbery Chapter #230, Order of the Eastern Star, Ripley River View Garden Club at local, regional and state levels, United Methodist Women, Brown County Republicans, Friends of the Library, The Progress Club, Election Day poll worker, 5 C’s co-op food distribution at Centenary and loved assisting with the Prayer Breakfast on Sunday mornings. Also, a member of the Brown County Republican Central committee. Roxanne also served as Jury Commissioner for many years. She was also a local Mary Kay Consultant. Additionally, she was a longtime member of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ and Exhibitors Association. For many years the Malone’s attended the annual Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration in Shelbyville, Tennessee where Roxanne enjoyed working at the shows.

Roxanne was an avid animal lover. She also loved her flowers as evidenced by the many flower arrangements she made for her church. She was also a member of the Administrative Council of the Centenary United Methodist Church. She was a Lay Leader for the church and prepared bulletins for services and did weekly announcements at the beginning of services.

Roxanne had nearly a 40-year career as a medical coder. Additionally, she taught coding classes at UC Clermont as well as Grant Career Center.

Roxanne was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Ruth Malone, grandparents, and Uncle George W. Malone. She is survived by her father, Louis (Red) Malone, Aunt Shirley Ann (Boyd) Malone and also several cousins as well as her fur baby, John Ross.

A life-long member of Centenary Methodist Church it is only befitting her services will be held at 110 North Second Street in Ripley on Monday, August 10, 2026. Visitation from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. with a memorial tribute beginning at 1:00 P.M.; immediately followed by a dinner in the Fellowship Hall lovingly hosted by the Centenary Methodist Women. Parking will also be available in the Church of Christ adjoining parking lots.
