Ruby B. Gast, age 76 of Henrico, Virginia, died Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville, Virginia. She was born on February 14, 1933 in North Carolina the daughter of the late Robert and Leona (Thomas) Calhoun.
Mrs. Gast is survived by her husband, Richard Gast, Sr.; three sons - Garry Heaton, Jerry Heaton and Richard Gast, Jr.; one brother, Herman Calhoun.
Following services in Virginia on Tuesday, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 25 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
