Ruby Ann Planck, age 35 of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, February 22, 2009 at her residence. She was an insurance agent for Gross Nickel Insurance Company in Owensville, Ohio. Ruby was born on December 7, 1973 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of James A. and Laura Ann (Souder) Fletcher, Sr. of Georgetown, Ohio. She was preceded in death by one son, Austin Reid Planck; one sister, June Sydney Michael and one niece, Laura Ann Michael both in 1997.
Besides her parents, Ruby is survived by one son - Christian Carter of Georgetown, Ohio; five brothers - James A. Fletcher, Jr. and wife Lisa of Lebanon, Ohio; John Fletcher and wife Jennifer of Georgetown, Ohio; Jerry R. Fletcher and wife Deitra of Aberdeen, Ohio and Justin and Jason Fletcher both of Xenia, Ohio; one sister - Judy C. Ridener and husband Robert of Bethel, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.
Austin Reid Planck, age 11 of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, February 22, 2009 at his residence. He was a 5th grade student at the Alverda Reed Elementary School in Georgetown, Ohio. Austin was born on October 22, 1997 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late Lenny and Ruby Ann (Fletcher) Planck. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Leonard Planck.
Austin is survived by two brothers - Christian Carter of Georgetown, Ohio and Leonard Planck, III of Russellville, Ohio; maternal grandparents - Jim and Laura Fletcher of Georgetown, Ohio; paternal grandmother - Pam Planck of Russellville, Ohio and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, February 27, 2009 at the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. Brother Doug Brown will officiate. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Ruby Ann Fletcher Planck and Austin Planck Memorial Fund c/o the National Bank in Trust, 885 South Main Street, Georgetown, Ohio 45121. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
