Russell Lee Maddux

Russell Lee Maddux, age 79 of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Maddux was retired from General Motors and was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. He was born July 23, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Russell Chester and Estelle Jane Maddux. He was also preceded in death by one brother – David Maddux.

Mr. Maddux is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years – Alexandra (Grant) Maddux, whom he married June 25, 1960; three children – Gregory Michael Maddux of New Richmond, Ohio, Richard David Maddux and wife Candice of Morrow, Ohio and Susan Amann and husband Scott of Cold Spring, Kentucky; four grandchildren – Joshua, Justin, Eric and Shayna; five great grandchildren – Maximus, Ellyonna, Emmitt, Cora and Harper; one sister – Gail Garr of Mt. Orab, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at St. George Catholic Church in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. – 11:15 A.M. Wednesday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Withamsville, Ohio.
