Russell H Ruggles

Russell H. Ruggles, age 69 of Aberdeen, Ohio, went to rest with the Lord on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, after a long battle with cancer. He was a retired owner/operator truck driver. Mr. Ruggles was born on May 26, 1940 in Lewis Co., KY. the son of the late Forrest and Ica (Corns) Ruggles. He was also preceded in death by two sisters - Carolyn Elkins and Janice Eubanks; one half sister, Doris McCormic; one half brother, James Buddy Ruggles; one step daughter, April Clark.
Mr. Ruggles is survived by his wife of twenty seven years, Ramona Anderson Ruggles; one son, Russell David Ruggles of Georgetown, KY.; one daughter, Rhonda Ann Ruggles of Georgetown, KY.; one grandchild, Savannah Ruggles of Georgetown, KY.; one step grandson that he raised, Stephen Anderson, at home; five step children - Michael Anderson of Garrison, KY., William Anderson of southern KY., Angela Myer of Mt. Carmel, KY., Cindy Workman of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Jennifer Workman of Mayslick, KY.; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; four brothers - Demphsey Ruggles of Garrison, KY., Douglas and Garry Ruggles of Quincy, KY. and Donald Lee Ruggles of Vanceburg, KY.; two sisters - Phyllis Lyles and Brenda Setters, both of Vanceburg, KY..
Following cremation, there will be no services. Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio is serving the family.
