Ruth Ellen Johnson

Ruth Ellen Johnson, age 66 of Ripley, Ohio, died Saturday, October 26, 2013 at her daughter's residence in Maysville, Kentucky. She worked for the former U.S. Shoe factory in Ripley, Ohio for nearly twenty years. Ms. Johnson was born January 7, 1947 in Maysville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Cyril and Hilda (Germann) Brown. She was also preceded in death by her lifelong companion, Mike Jolley.
Ms. Johnson is survived by two daughters - Amy Johnson of Decatur, Ohio and Jennifer Lang and husband Ricky of Maysville, Kentucky; two sons - Shawn Johnson of Portsmouth, Ohio and Robert Johnson and wife Pamela of Ripley, Ohio; twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister - Pauline Yeager and husband Curby of Ripley, Ohio; two brothers - Donald Brown of Georgetown, Ohio and Jerry Brown of Ripley, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
