Samuel Jewell

Samuel Harvey Jewell, age 83 of Hamersville, Ohio passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025 at his residence. He was born August 26, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Sam and Agnes Ruth (Rymer) Jewell. Samuel was a dedicated member of the Northside Baptist Church, He found joy in his faith and was passionate about the life he led. He was a retired employee of New Richmond Ford, where he devoted many years of service. Samuel’s interests were as diverse as his talents; he enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching wrestling matches and cutting wood, but above all, he cherished spending time with his loved ones and attending church events. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 63 years – Donna D. Jewell in 2023; two daughters – Pam Carroll and Kim Moore and one brother – Charles Jewell.

Mr. Jewell is survived by two daughters – Brenda Anderson and husband Ronnie of Maysville, Kentucky and Darla Foley and husband Garry of Bethel, Ohio; fifteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one sister - Jeannie Railsback of Oregon.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 1, 2025 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Adam Burton will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M.- 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Sanders Cemetery near Hamersville, Ohio.
