Samuel David Lunsford II

Samuel David Lunsford II, age 50 of Felicity, Ohio passed away Sunday, August 2, 2026 at the Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia, Ohio. He was born April 21, 1976 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky the son of Samuel David and Pamela Mae (Whisman) Lunsford of Felicity, Ohio. David worked in the HVAC industry and was truly a "Jack of all trades." There wasn't much he couldn't build, repair, or figure out. Whether it was fixing a car, roofing a house, or tackling any project that needed to be done, David always found a way to get it done. In his spare time, he enjoyed the freedom of riding his motorcycle, one of his greatest passions. David will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by one son – Tyler Roberts in 2016; grandson – Atlas Kaesheimer; paternal grandparents – Hiram and Edith (Jones) Lunsford, Jr. and maternal grandparents – Gene and Virginia (Fryman) Whisman.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Lunsford is survived by his wife of 26 years – Tonya (Podolsky) Lunsford whom he married June 3, 2000; four children – Alexis Lunsford of Felicity, Ohio, Tanner Kaesheimer of Russellville, Ohio, Ashley “Nikki” Souder of Bethel, Ohio and Serenity Davis of Felicity, Ohio; four grandchildren – Steveelyn Roberts, Scarlet Kaesheimer and Quentin and Eila Davis; one sister – Patricia Curtis and husband Brandon of Ripley, Ohio; father and mother-in-law – Joseph and M. Ann (Miller) Podolsky of Felicity; nieces, nephews and his fur babies – Lillie and Petie.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 7, 2026 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Dave Warren will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
