Sandra Lee Bealer

Sandra Lee (Mills) Bealer, age 67 of Cincinnati, Ohio died Thursday, April 29, 2010 at the Drake Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated from the Georgetown High School in 1960, in 1971 she married Cecil Ellsworth Bealer, Sr. and later they divorced in 1980. Sandra was a member of the Delaney Chapel A.M.E. in Georgetown, Ohio and believed in community service. She volunteered for numerous organizations, such as the Brown County MRDD, the American Cancer Society and the Brown County Helping Hands to name a few. All of the organizations she volunteered at reflected the importance of caring for individuals and the well being of our shared society, a theme she carried with her even after becoming a patient at the Judson Care Center. In 2005 she was presented the Judson Care Center Volunteers Take Time to Care Award. She was selected for this award by the staff and residents for all her time that she helped run the Judson Care Center Gift Shop, delivered purchases to shut-in patients, coordinated the greeting card volunteers to ensure that each resident received cards for holidays, birthdays and anniversaries and organized patient gardeners that cared for 8 - 10 on-site flower beds. Ms. Bealer was born September 27, 1942 in Hillsboro, Ohio the eldest daughter of the late Clarence V. and Edna E. (Toler) Mills. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother - Wade Mills.

Sandra is survived by three children - Vera Jones and husband Antione of Cincinnati, Ohio, Clarence Bealer and wife Samantha of Columbus, Ohio and Marchandia Bealer of Cincinnati, Ohio; six grandchildren - Asherah, Ty, Brayden, Austin and Charlotte Bealer and Rishon Jones; two sisters - Peggy Warner of Sardinia, Ohio and Marsha Mills of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; one nephew - Ernst "Andy" Warner and wife Tiffany of Cincinnati, Ohio and one uncle - Leon Toler of East Orange, New Jersey.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 6, 2010 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
