Sandra D. Lang

Sandra Darling Lang, age 79 of Georgetown, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at the Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia, Ohio. She was born April 29, 1946 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of the late Raymond and Alberta (McKinzie) Newberry. Sandy worked for the IGA Grocery Store in Georgetown, Ohio and Grandma and Grandpa’s Convenient Store and Gas Station in Wahlsburg, Ohio and was a member of the Farmer’s Chapel Church in Georgetown, Ohio. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years – Richard Lang in 2014 and one brother – Terry Newberry.

Mrs. Lang is survived by four sons – Richard “Dick” Lang and wife Tammy, Jeff Lang and wife Regina and Steve Lang and wife Marlaina all of Georgetown, Ohio and Terry Lang and wife Desiree of Russellville, Ohio; ten grandchildren – Joe Lang and wife Samy, Jayden Lang, Alisha Lang, Jessie Preston, Megan Young and wife Jared, Skylar McIntosh and husband Xavier, Steven McRoberts, Taylor McRoberts, Brant Brown and wife Chelsi and Hunter Brown; ten great grandchildren; two brothers – Tim Newberry and wife Linda of Mt.Orab, Ohio and Randy Newberry and wife Debra of Maysville, Kentucky; one sister – Cindy Bailey and husband Randy of Maysville, Kentucky; one sister-in-law – Cana Newberry of Georgetown, Ohio; one aunt – Judy Cox of Mt.Orab, Ohio and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 P.M. Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Private interment will be at the convenience of the family in the Farmers Chapel Cemetery near Georgetown, Ohio.
