Sheila Jean Green (Monnette), age 66 of Hamersville, Ohio died Monday, July 20, 2015 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman, Ohio. Sheila was born August 14, 1948 in Goshen, Ohio the daughter of the late Ralph and Wanda Faye (Blakeney) Green.
Sheila loved spending time with her grandchildren, friends, and loved ones. She was very talented and could do most anything she set her mind to. She was gifted in crafting, sewing and quilting, was the founder and member of the Yankeetown Quilting Club, and enjoyed teaching sewing and quilting classes in her home.
Sheila is survived by three children - Tara Estep and husband Tom of Amelia, Ohio, Tina Stevens and husband Dan of Williamsburg, Ohio and Travis Waits of Williamsburg, Ohio; five grandchildren – Jordan, Janson, Justin, Cayla and Collin; one brother – Bill Green of Florida; one aunt – Winnie Quinton of Hamilton, Ohio; domestic partner – Wayne Monnette and many extended family members.
An anatomical gift was made to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. There will be no services. Sheila had her “Celebration of Life” on May 10, 2015 surrounded by family and friends.
