Shirley Ann Black, age 70 of Ripley, Ohio, died Sunday, March 24, 2013 at her residence. She was retired from the Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington School District, where she taught second grade for thirty three years. She was a member of the Ripley First Presbyterian Church and the Brown County Retired Teachers Association. Mrs. Black was born August 23, 1942 in Portsmouth, Ohio the daughter of the late Richard Edward and Pauline Ann (Pfeffer) Secrist.
