Starling David Lee Richey

Starling David Lee Richey, age 74 of Hamersville, Ohio died Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at his residence. He was a retired inspector for General Electric and a United States Army veteran. Dave was born May 8, 1941 in Feesburg, Ohio the son of the late Charles O. and Dorothy (Myrl) Richey. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother – Charles Richey.

Mr. Richey is survived by his wife of 52 years – Bobbie Carol (Sellers) Richey, whom he married April 30, 1963; four children – David Lee Richey, Sr. and wife Rhonda of Batavia, Ohio, John Richey and wife Brenda of Hamersville, Ohio, Rob Richey and wife Melissa of Fairfield, Ohio and Hope Locke and husband Rob of Eastgate, Ohio; eight grandchildren – Trisha Rutherford and husband Dave of Blue Ash, Ohio, David Lee Richey,Jr. of Batavia, Ohio, J.R. Richey and wife Ashley of Mt.Orab, Ohio, Crystal Liming and husband Justin of Hamersville, Ohio. Wyatt and Lydia Richey both of Fairfield, Ohio, Heather Locke of Amelia, Ohio and Amber Locke of Eastgate, Ohio; seven great grandchildren – Ally Richey, Sophia and Easton Rutherford, Madison and Harper Richey and Kayleigh and Harley Liming; one brother – Larry Richey of Bethel, Ohio; one sister-in-law – Ruth Hayslip and husband Jr. of Hamersville, Ohio; one brother-in-law – Gary Sellers and wife Sheila of Eastgate and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Mike Starkey will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford, Ohio with military services.
