Steven Allen Cox, age 53 of Ripley, Ohio was found deceased on Wednesday, October 13, 2004 in Ripley, Ohio. He was a construction worker, a disabled Vietnam War Veteran and a member of the Ripley Church of Christ. He was born on October 6, 1951 in Fort Knox, Kentucky the son of Alice Gelter Cox Dailey and the late Charles Samuel Cox. He was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Michael Cox.
Besides his mother, Steve is also survived by one daughter, Melissa Rae Jones of North Canton, Ohio; one son, Seth Allen Cox of Dayton, Ohio; one sister, Kathy Stamper of Ripley, Ohio and one grandson, Nicholas Vaughn Jones, at home.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 17, 2004 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. John Neu will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 3:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
