Sue Mitchell

Sue Mitchell, age 85 of Ripley, Ohio died Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville, Kentucky. She was a retired waitress. She was born March 1, 1930 in Nicholas County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Charles Nathan and Lou Creasie (Jolley) Massey. She was also preceded in death by two grandchildren – Eric Mitchell and Beth Popham, four brothers, three sisters and a beloved brother-in-law.

Ms. Mitchell is survived by one son – Jim Mitchell and wife Debbie of Russellville, Ohio; one daughter – Faye Popham of Ripley, Ohio; four grandchildren – Missy Malone and husband Kevin of Ripley, Ohio, Cristy Spradling and husband Shayne of Higginsport, Ohio, Matt Mitchell and wife Brittany of Columbus, Ohio and Heidi Hauck and husband Ben of Columbus, Ohio; three great grandchildren – Mollie Malone and Laken and Lexie Wallingford; one sister – Beulah Gates of Carlisle, Kentucky; two step great granddaughters – Brigett Cavazza and Brittany Wojciak and husband Terrance; two step great great grandchildren – R.J. Cavazza and Grace Wojciak and many special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Matt Carpenter will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Wednesday. Interment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
