Susan Kay Brierly

Susan Kay Brierly, 74 of Batavia, Ohio, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia, Ohio. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Brierly was born June 23, 1951 in Ripley, Ohio the daughter of the late Roy and Alta (Bradford) Hamilton. She was also preceded in death by her husband of fifty-seven years – Jimmy Dale Brierly; six siblings – Stanley Hamilton, Dorothy Vaughn, Thelma Jean White, Dennis Lee Hamilton, Cathy Valero and Phyllis Mitchell.

Mrs. Brierly is survived by two daughters – Paula Brierly of Williamsburg, Ohio and Karen Mahon of Batavia, Ohio; two granddaughters – Megan and Riley Mahon; two sisters – Pauline Jimison Jennings of Georgetown, Ohio and Bonnie Fite of Copperas Cove, Texas; one brother – Billy Hamilton of Ripley, Ohio.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. Saturday, October 25, 2025 at the Ripley American Legion Post #367, 2944 Elk River Road, Ripley, Ohio.
