Thomas Richard Adamson

Thomas R. Adamson, age 69 of Georgetown, Ohio, died Sunday, May 20, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Adamson was a carpenter and retired from the maintenance department of the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. He was born on December 23, 1937 in Adams County, Ohio the son of the late Alva Ray and Edna Lucille (Tadlock) Adamson. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Paul Adamson, three brothers-in-law, Gilbert Saunders, Gene Shelton and Alfred "Buck" Thompson and one sister-in-law, Barbara Hanselman.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years - Corinne (Hanselman) Adamson; two sons- Jeff Adamson and Jon Adamson and wife Sherry; one daughter- Tricia Wilmoth and husband Kevin all of Georgetown, Ohio; daughter-in-law - Andrea Adamson; six grandchildren - Craig and Emily Adamson, Brittany and Stephanie Wilmoth and Brandon and Hunter Adamson all of Georgetown, Ohio; three sisters - Ruth Saunders of Owensville, Ohio, Mary Lou Shelton of Xenia, Ohio and Dottie Thompson of Lexington, Kentucky; two brothers - Danny (Minnie) Adamson of Georgetown, Ohio and Darryl (Chris) Adamson of Mt. Orab, Ohio; one brother-in-law - Tom (Joan) Hanselman of Georgetown, Ohio and several nieces and nephews and his dog Trixie.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 24, 2007 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Scott Hennig will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Thursday. Interment will be in the Arnheim Peace Lutheran Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope, The American Heart Association, The American Cancer Society or to The American Kidney Foundation.
