Timothy Owen Jeffries Brown, age 62 of Mt.Orab, Ohio passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at his residence surrounded by loved ones. He was devoted to his family and had a deep love and appreciation for life and the outdoors. Throughout his life, he made significant contributions as a retired chief engineer and semi-professional fisherman and founder and president of the Pack Club of Ohio, Brown County. Tim was also a member of the Pack Hunting Club in Moores Crossroads, SC. In addition to his accomplishments in his profession, Tim devoted his time as a children's educator and fishing instructor, sharing his deep love for fishing and the natural world with younger generations and attended the Crossroads Eastside Church in Eastgate, Ohio. He was a man who embraced life fully and known for his friendly disposition, often striking up conversations with everyone he met and delighting them with engaging stories and fun facts. His spirit of camaraderie and patriotism was felt by all who knew him. Tim was born February 25, 1963 in Belle, West Virginia the son of the late Timothy Owen Jeffries and Merle Sue (Graley) Brown. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father – Clifford Ray Brown, step-mother- Phyllis Jeffries and father-in-law – Lt. Ray Cannady.

Mr. Brown is survived by his loving wife of 15 years – Kimberlee C. (Cannady-Day) Brown whom he married October 17, 2009; two sons – Andrew Owen Brown and fiancé Elizabeth Coy and Dylan Scott Brown and wife Alesha McMillion both of Cincinnati, Ohio; three brothers – Scott Brown of Charleston, West Virginia and Ray Brown and wife Nancy and Robert Fitzpatrick both of Belle, West Virginia; one sister – Lisa Summers of Belle, West Virginia; one step-sister – Tina Jeffries Phipps of Deer Park, Ohio; mother-in-law – Barbara Jenkinson of Florence, South Carolina; three sisters-in-law – Carrie Cannady and husband Dennis Hanley of Ruckersville, Virginia, Christine Hurst and husband John of Florence, South Carolina and Kelli Ruge and husband Doug of Summerville, South Carolina; lifelong friends – Harry “Scotty” and Linda Scott of Lucasville, Ohio; many nieces and nephew and his fur babies – Herbert and Nora.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, May 12, 2025 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M.- 1:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mt.Orab Cemetery in Mt.Orab, Ohio.
