Ursel Ray Webb, Sr.

Ursel Ray Webb, Sr., age 79 of Ripley, Ohio, died Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Meadowview Regional Hospital in Maysville, Kentucky. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force Reserves, a retired truck driver and a lifetime member of the Nazarene Church in Wilmington, Ohio. Mr. Webb was born June 12, 1936 in Louisa, Kentucky the son of the late Hillman and Icel (Jordan) Webb. He was also preceded in death by one sister – Lucille and three grandchildren.
Mr. Webb is survived by his loving wife of nearly sixty-one years – Betty Jean (Young) Webb; two daughters – Jayne McKayme of Wilmington, Ohio, Debra Wheeler and husband Floyd of Deweyville, Texas; one son – Ursel Ray Webb, Jr. and fiancé Tracy Applegate of Wilmington, Ohio; one brother – Bob Webb and wife Shirley of Wilmington, Ohio; eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, February 12, 2016 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M. on Friday. Interment will follow the funeral service in Pisgah Ridge Cemetery near Ripley with military honors provided by the Courts-Fussnecker American Legion Post 367 of Ripley, Ohio.
