Verna Sexson Banfield

Verna Sexson Banfield, age 88, of Bethel, Ohio died Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at the Villa Georgetown Nursing Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Mrs. Banfield was a homemaker. She was born in Montgomery County, Kentucky on June 15, 1916 the daughter of the late Asa and Mary Ada (Kissick) Sexson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Banfield.
Mrs. Banfield is survived by two sisters - Gertie Montgomery of Bethel, Ohio and Dianne Mahaffey of Georgetown, Ohio; four brothers - Floyd Sexson of Manchester, Ohio; Harley Sexson of Hillsboro, Kentucky; Demaree Sexson of Manchester, Ohio and Belford Sexson of Aberdeen, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 19, 2005 at the Hillsboro Cemetery in Hillsboro, Kentucky. There will be no visitation. Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
