Viola "Vi" Mccane

Viola K. "Vi" McCane, age 69 of Franklinton, North Carolina formerly of Burlington, Kentucky and Georgetown, Ohio died Friday, August 30, 2013 at the Duke Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Youngsville, North Carolina and the Franklin County GOP. Vi was born January 19, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Hollan) Steele. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers - Jerry, Larry and Daniel Steele.

Mrs. McCane is survived by her husband - Terry McCane; one son - Greg Blankenship of Brooksville, Kentucky; one daughter - Christy Campbell and husband Ryan of Ghana, Africa; one stepson - Mark McCane of Floyds Knobs, Indiana; six grandchildren; one brother - Gary Steele of Georgetown, Ohio; six sisters - Jean Rose of Cincinnati, Ohio, Gloria Steele of Moscow, Ohio, Betty Fussnecker of Eastgate, Ohio, Emily Gatts of Colorado, Alice Hile of Cincinnati, Ohio and Pam Layman of Georgetown, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
