Virginia Bell Germann

Virginia Bell Germann, age 90 of Ripley, Ohio, died Monday, May 19, 2014 at Hospice of Cincinnati East in Anderson Township, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael Church in Ripley. Mrs. Germann was born March 22, 1924 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of the late William G. and Anna L. (Downing) Rice. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard T. Germann, Sr.; three sisters - Clara Edith Lewis, Rosalee Purdin and Elizabeth Vaughn; one brother - Hubert J. Rice and one son-in-law - Paul Hauke.

Mrs. Germann is survived by three daughters - Angela C. Hauke , Vivian L. Armour and husband Bobby and Kathleen I. Plymesser and husband Miles, all of Ripley; three sons - Leonard T. Germann, Jr. and wife Sandra of Higginsport, Ohio, Leslie C. Germann and wife Patricia of Batavia, Ohio and Jerome L. Germann and wife Denise of Aberdeen, Ohio; seventeen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 23, 2014 at St. Michael Church in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Dohrman Byers will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday evening at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley.
