Wanda Jean Schwallie

Wanda Jean Schwallie, age 86 of Georgetown, Ohio died Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ripley, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of St. George Catholic Church in Georgetown, Ohio. Mrs. Schwallie was born March 1, 1926 in Ash Ridge, Ohio the daughter of the late Roy and Lola (Schweickart) Newman. She was also preceded in death by her husband - Richard Schwallie in 1990 and one brother - Ralph Newman.

Mrs. Schwallie is survived by six children - Jeanie Smith of Columbus, Ohio, Susan Ogden and husband Dick of Columbus, Ohio, Rick Schwallie and wife Kay of Georgetown, Ohio, Jennifer Nelson and husband John of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Hannah Watson and husband David of Georgetown, Ohio and Mary Bingham and husband Chris of Hamersville, Ohio, seventeen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two sisters - Ruth Cahall of Cincinnati, Ohio and Gladys Liming of Georgetown, Ohio and one brother - Jim Newman of Lafayette, Indiana.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 24, 2012 at the St. George Catholic Church in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Dohrman Byers will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Sunday with the Rosary at 8:45 P.M. at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 4360 Glendale Milford Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242.
