Wayne Everett Carrington

Wayne Everett Carrington, age 89 of Georgetown, Ohio died Friday, November 9, 2007 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. Carrington was a farmer and was an Army World War II Veteran. He was born on June 4, 1918 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late Cleo and Marie (Huey) Carrington. He was also preceded in death by two wives-Dora Lee (Shipman) Carrington in 1979 and Mary (Litimer) Carrington in 2006 and three brothers- Harold, Marion and Olan Carrington.

Mr. Carrington is survived by two daughters - Judith Ratliff and husband Wayne of Georgetown, Ohio and Ramona Whaley and husband James of Lucasville, Ohio; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one brother - Donald Carrington of Georgetown, Ohio; three sisters - Mary Phillips of Georgetown, Ohio, Betty Glassco of Batavia, Ohio and Wilma Morrison of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Bill Kirby will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery with veteran services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180.
